Why this event?

About GATE, and 'Why we do this event'

This is a documentary of epic walk in 2005 led by Japanese Monks from Nagasaki carrying Atomic Flame. Because of many American people's help and support, this became a big movement and many US media reported about the walk.

This movie was on screen in 2008. Distributed in Japan, and a few in other countries. Not so many people in the US had an opportunity to watch this movie after the walk.
Only chance you can watch GATE is 'through private screening'.

I personally believe people in the US should have more chance to watch this movie GATE: without their support neither their walk nor making GATE movie could accomplish.
And so many viewers said this is a movie for everybody regardless age, sex, race, nationality or religion. Please join here and find out by yourself what they meant.

Great thanks for all the support and help we got from Salt Lake JACL, GNDFund, 'movie GATE' director Matt Taylor, and cheerful and helpful my friends volunteers.

About Global Nuclear Disarmament Fund (GNDFund)

We like you to tour in their website, but let us tell you that  this organization had succeeded to disarm one nuclear missile in Russia... well did you think 'Only one?' ?
Fact is that in this world they say there are 18,000 nuclear weapons, and about 1,700 of them are ready to launch. Also they estimate about $100,000 to disarm EACH nuclear weapon.
The organization is still working for this without fists, loud voice, but doing something different.
